 Finally! Nickotopia has been launched. We've got 3 playable zones with 5 working quests, monsters and a boss. Of course a lot more is planned, and you can expect new zones, quests and bosses in the very near future!
Nickotopia now has a custom dedicated server that runs faster and more efficiently. Check it out for yourself.
As always, if you have any suggestions, comments or bug reports please post them in the forum! Thanks!

Additions
- Added mini-map
- Added zone Sands of Time
- Added first dungeon, Forbidden Crypt
- Added first escort quest
- Players can now see when others are/come online
- You can now use shortcuts for most menu options
Changes
- Monsters now drop coins
- Magic attribute renamed to Willpower to avoid confusion
- Vitality now increases your health regeneration rate
- Spirit now increases your magic regeneration rate
- Increased regeneration rates
Bug fixes
- Fixed bug where latency would rise for no reason
- Units no longer "shake" when opening a popup window
- Fixed exp bonuses not showing up
- Fixed guards not attacking units
- Fixed trees not showing up
- Monster aggro range now depends on level difference
- Monsters no longer have a delay on retaliation
- Items and Coins now decay after 60 seconds
- Particles will no longer overlap eachother
- Many, many more... (hard to remember)

| It's been taking a while but we're finally getting there, and Nickotopia is almost ready to go. A lot of stuff has been added and improved including quests, multiple browser support (even Internet Explorer!), better text outlines, and many many bug fixes. As we are entering the final stages of production more content will be added, and much faster than before due to a better in-game editor and debugging system. If you have any bugs or suggestions please use the Forum and the corresponding sections. Thanks a lot! |

Something new and cool is coming up! A realtime exploration system where you can actually battle with each other together. This will open many new possibilities and creates a dynamic environment. Of course, that all isn't finished yet. Stay tuned!
- Added zone Cursed Savannah, Mountain of Illusions (thanks Jinxter)
- Fixed bug where mountain of illusion was impossible to complete (thanks Dinnerjab, bigdavedee, Nyxre)
- Fixed false items showing in shops
- Cleaned up items display in general
- Fixed a lot of bugs with armory (thanks syndahra)
- Fixed typo in item generator (thanks blergen)

- Improved shops & trainers layout
- Improved zones Shores of Serenity and Ominious Mire
- Added zones Cavern of Unholy Beings, Monastery of Gaia
- Reduced the effect of vitality on trap damage
- You can no longer get healed by traps
- Reduced sell price from 3/4 to 1/4 original price (experimental)
- Some traps now damage/destroy items
- Added legendary items (cannot be destroyed or damaged)
- Added more items
- You can no longer buy epic/legendary items (you can only find them)

- Improved battle layout
- Fixed bug where battle would freeze
- Removed battle looting
- You can now get blind in battle (makes you miss)
- Added item Eye Drops (cures Blind)
- Improved wilderness random events randomizer
- You can no longer find a negative amount of Gil (thanks Ginryu)
- Fixed bug where elemental resistance would be a decimal number (thanks Jinxter)
- Vitality now stops non-elemental trap damage
- Fixed registration not working (sorry for those eager to join!)
- Added level bonuses that occur every 5 levels

- Fixed voting site bug (thanks Gabe, Terzle)
- Fixed bug where a completed wilderness message would not appear (thanks Terzle)
- Changed the random number generator to be more "random"
- Fixed bug where recent topics would show unexisting posts
- Monsters in battle no longer drop Gil. (experimental)
